We have recently been given the assurance that if you have not, as yet, had a chance to submit your comments/objections to Cheshire West and Chester Council on Igas’ new application for the Ellesmere Port site it is not too late to do so. All comments that are placed up until early January 2018 will still be taken into account by the planning committee, from which point a decision will be made on the application. This is a extra opportunity and so it is imperative that we all take full advantage of it, as many more objections are still needed.

Feel free to use our guidelines to object (links to them have been provided below, which includes a new version that can be used as a stand alone or in conjunction with the original) and remember to put your submission in your own words using a bullet point/numbered format for each point.

For online access follow the link to the council planning portal https://pa.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/online-applications/ and use the reference code 17/03213/MIN in the search box. To submit via email use the address, planning@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk and quote the reference 17/03213/MIN.

There is also a petition that you can sign (a link to this is also at the end of this blog). Many thanks for your support. Solidarity!

Please continue to get your objections in!
